If both you and Dr. Urban agree that you would benefit from a neck lift procedure, he will create a customized surgical plan addressing your specific needs. When you are ready for your neck lift surgery, Dr. Urban will meet with you and explain his approach to your neck lift. Your skin will be marked for incision, and you will be sedated by IV or general anesthesia to allow for your comfort and safety during the procedure.
Dr. Urban will then proceed to make the incisions under the chin and behind the ears. He will remove any excess fat or tissue, tighten the muscle, and reposition the skin so that the neck appears flatter and firmer.
When your procedure is complete, you will be released to the recovery room, where you will be monitored until the anesthesia has worn off. You may return home the same day, provided you are accompanied by a trusted friend or relative.
Please follow all post-operative instructions following your procedure. Your neck may feel swollen and tender for several days following the surgery. Please use prescription or over-the-counter pain medication to manage these reactions until they resolve, typically within two weeks. Patients should avoid any major physical activity for at least the first month after their procedure, or until Dr. Urban clears them to resume it.

If you reschedule or cancel your surgery less than 48 hours before it, you will be charged a fee of $500 to $1000.

We will send you a monthly statement. Most insurance companies will respond within four to six weeks. Please call our office if your statement does not accurately reflect your insurance payment within the specified time frame. Any remaining balance after your insurance has been paid is your responsibility. Your prompt remittance is appreciated. We can arrange a monthly payment plan, but it must be implemented prior to the actual procedure.
