What to Expect on the Day of BOTOX® & Wrinkle Relaxers Treatment

On the day of your BOTOX and wrinkle relaxers treatment in Salt Lake City, Dr. Urban and his staff will welcome you, get you settled, and review your treatment plan to ensure you are fully comfortable proceeding with it as discussed. Once you are ready to go, the treatment will begin.

BOTOX Cosmetic injections are performed without anesthesia because they are virtually painless. Only a very small sting is felt when the injections are made. The effects are not permanent and may need to be repeated two to three times per year to retain the effects. Research has suggested, however, that long-term use of the injections leads to a longer duration of each treatment’s effect.

After the treatment, patients may experience slight bruising around the area that quickly fades. Normal activities can be performed immediately.
